StarVR One Developer Edition To Be Priced At $3200 – Available In 35 Countries From Now

MRTV has just been informed about the price and availability of the StarVR One headset! The next-generation, full FOV headset that had been shown at various exhibitions before and gathered lots of excitement in the process will be available to select developers for an asking price of $3200.

The headset will be available in 35 countries, and developers interested in purchasing the device must apply for it through the StarVR One website.

The StarVR One will be available in the following countries, starting from now:

North America:USA (except for Hawaii and Alaska), Canada

Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland

Asia: China, Taiwan, and Japan

After developers applied for and are accepted into the program, they will then receive the purchase information. Applicants should be either developers or professional users, eligibility to join the program will be determined by StarVR upon receiving the application.

Delivery of the headset will take 2-5 days to North America and Europe after payment has been confirmed. Suggested retail price is $3200 (excluding tax) but price will vary depending on the local business condition and applicable currency.

The package includes the StarVR One headset (HMD) and accessories, 5mType-C cable, 2 x 0.5m DP cable, 2 x 0.5m USB Type-A cable, 1 x power adapter, 2 x secure cable holder, cable adapter, and cable adapter anti-slip mat. Controllers and tracking system are not included with the purchase, but StarVR One is out-of-the-box-ready for SteamVR™ Tracking 2.0 and both SteamVR™ tracking 1.0 and 2.0 base stations will work.
