The Elite Strap is the go-to headstrap for many Quest 2 fans that do not like the original soft strap. At $50 it is pretty pricey for a piece of plastic but the accessory does deliver. It makes the Quest 2 more comfortable overall, less front-heavy and thanks to the adjustment knob the headset can now more easily be share by people with different head sizes. The first edition had structural problems that led to quite a few broken Elite Straps and Oculus cancelling orders. This has now been resolved and Oculus is shipping again. Unfortunately this strap does not solve the Quest 2's short battery life, therefore I would rather recommend the version that comes with a battery.
