Pixvana’s cloud-based virtual reality (VR) platform SPIN Studio allows immersive content creators to build interactive story experiences from within a headset. This week, the company has announced an additional tool for the platform, SPIN Guide.
SPIN Guide provides companies with a suite of presentation management tools as well as real-time analytics, helping guide audiences whilst tracking engagement and content comprehension. The new feature is ideal for VR uses cases where several guests may be taking a tour for example, with SPIN Guide one person can control what an entire audience is seeing from one main screen.
Alongside providing fully guided VR experiences, to ensure everyone has the same unified experience whoever is controlling the platform has the ability to talk to them throughout the journey; play, pause, and seek the video; adjust volume; and more.

SPIN Guide can create heat maps of where users are looking, how they navigate the content, and how well they understand the content they consume, to provide valuable data for companies.
